This trail run offers a breathtaking journey along some of the most striking stretches of the Dorset coastline. Much of both routes is rewarded with panoramic views across the Jurassic Coast.
As you descend from Thorncombe Beacon, the rugged cliffs and open sea provide a dramatic backdrop. The course combines well-trodden trails, grassy slopes, tracks, paths and short road sections.
The final stretch brings runners back towards West Bay before a flatter run to the finish. Runners, walkers and Jeffers are all welcome.

Expect wide sea views, rolling grassy trails and the distinctive cliffs of West Dorset.

Not everyone wants or values a medal, so we've made it optional. You can choose to enter with or without one when you enter.
To receive a finisher's medal you must enter by 11th March. This is the cut-off date for us to place the medal order with our manufacturer.
Entries remain open after this date, however late entrants will receive a generic medal.
